Beer
Stein Triathlon rules:
-
Teams
must be paid in full before the race begins. The cost is $20.00 per team.

Teams
must consist of 4 persons.
-
The
triathlon consists of 3 different events that will be timed. The team with
the best time on all three events combined will win the competition.

Time
additions will be added for any violations during each event.
Event #1 – Keg Roll

This will
consist of each team completing the course the fastest.
-
Two
people from each team will start with one hand on the keg.
-
You must
hand off the keg to your other 2 teammates, and they will go down the course
too.

You will
go down and back with your partner, if you put another hand on the keg you
will be added 5 seconds to your time per infraction.

You must
stay within the course, if you cross any cones or lines 5 seconds will be
added to your time per infraction.
Event #2 –
Beer Stein Obstacle Course

Each
teammate must complete the course.
-
Each team
will start out with a 12 pack of beer and 3 steins (3steins x 4 people=
12beers)

You must
pour the beer into the steins, complete the obstacle course and pour the
beer into the bucket at the end. You must race back to the beginning of the
line and hand the steins off to the next person to pour.

The end
bucket will have predetermined markers inside. Additional time will be for
each marker not met in the bucket.
Event #3 – Nail & Chug

Each
Partner does the event.

There
will be 4 nails set up by 4 beers. Each partner must hammer a nail into the
wood and chug a beer. The next person can not start until the person before
him finishes their beer. If you start early you will have 10 seconds added
to your time per infraction. Also if you bend a nail 5 seconds will be added
to your time.
